Xiaogang Hu received his Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing in December 2016. He has also spent one year in University of Leicester, UK as a joint Ph. D student funded by China Scholarship Council. After two years of postdoctoral research, Xiaogang takes the position of research assistant professor in the department of mechanical and energy engineering, SUSTech. His research interests include the metal additive manufacturing technology and the semi-solid processing of alloys and composites.
