叶涛,南方科技大学纳米科学与应用研究院(INA)兼电子与电气工程系教授、卡内基梅隆大学电子与计算机工程系兼职教授。本科毕业于清华大学电子工程系,在美国斯坦福大学(Stanford)电子工程系获得博士学位。主要研究方向是集成电路、EDA、物联网传感器件与柔性电路、类神经网络电路及人工智能芯片等。在集成电路设计及物联网技术领域有超过二十年的经验。

 

叶涛教授在集成电路设计及EDA领域有超过二十年的经验,尤其对定制化芯片(ASIC,Application Specific Integrated Circuit),混合集成电路(Mix-Signal IC)有着丰富的学术界及工业界的经历。曾任多个EDA公司和芯片设计公司的主要研发成员和研究主管。在Synopsys期间负责基于Design Ware的ASIC设计流程开发。在物联网芯片公司Impinj Inc.作为最早的主要研发人员,开发出世界第一款超高频RFID芯片。后任香港五所政府研发中心之一的香港物流及供应链技术中心(LSCM)研发总监,作为项目负责人及首席科学家领导了多个香港政府创新及科技基金项目。带领团队设计出国内首款微型低功耗的RFID读写器芯片,并将RFID和手机移动平台结合,使RFID技术最终延伸到用户终端,在产品防伪、认证、支付领域产生巨大商机。还参与了EPC Global无线射频识别技术的世界标准及协议的制定及实施过程,首创及开发了多种物联网的关键技术,包括RFID核心芯片设计制作、和包装结合的天线设计、物联网及RFID通信安全、NFC移动支付等一系列核心技术。在工业界及学术界都有深厚的合作经验,曾在Synopsys Inc.,Analog Devices Inc.,Magma Design Automation Inc.,Silicon Architects及多个硅谷公司担任工程负责及顾问职位,也是中科院、香港大学、香港科技大学的兼职教授及香港科技大学物联网中心的首席科学家。担任多个国际标准委员会(ISO)成员、IEEE及国际学术会议主席、国际学术期刊编辑及学术委员会成员、以及国际自动识别协会AIM的专家委员会成员和AIM亚洲分会首席科学家。
