On December 20, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) will celebrate its 10^th anniversary. To summarize the first ten years of SUSTech’s historical achievements and display the impact on every level of society, SUSTech has started to prepare for the 10^th anniversary of its establishment.

SUSTech will establish a 10^th Anniversary Celebration Preparatory Committee, chaired by SUSTech University Council Chairperson Yurong GUO and President Shiyi CHEN. They will be responsible for the decision-making and command of significant issues for the anniversary. It will handle the planning, organization, and coordination of all the anniversary work. The Committee will be located in the Office of Party Affairs and Administration.

The basic principles behind the 10^th Anniversary Celebration are enthusiasm and pragmatism. All units are asked to integrate the 10^th Anniversary Celebrations into their 2020 work plans. Departments are recommended to work with other units to develop activities.

The list of activities will be announced and discussed at the spring strategy seminar on February 7 and 8. All units are asked to fill out the attached form and submit it to the Office of Administration & Party Affairs before Monday, February 3 at dangq2017@sustech.edu.cn
