Basic Introduction:

Dr. Jingfu Liu is a chair professor at Southern University of Science and Technology in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002, finished his postdoctoral research in Lund University (Sweden) in 2006, and joined the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a full professor. His major research interests involve the analytical methodology, environmental processes and effects of nanoparticles and persistent toxic substances, and the development and environmental application of nanomaterials. He is the PI or Co-PI for over 20 projects, the author and co-author of over 300 peer-reviewed original research papers and invited reviews, and the co-editor of 2 books on environmental nanomaterials. Dr. Liu received twice the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and 100 Talents Project of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is now the Co-Editors-in-Chief of the Environmental Pollutants and Bioavailability.
