Dr. Jian-Fang Cui obtained his bachelor degree of Science from Sun Yat-sen University in 2006, and then he obtained his PhD degree from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science under the supervision of Professor Henry N. C. Wong in 2011. From 2012 to 2018, he worked as Research Associate, Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to continue his academic study in organic synthesis. Currently, Dr. Cui works as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Southern University of Science and Technology. His research interests concern the design and synthesis of functional tetraphenylenes and chiral gold(III) complex and their application on asymmetric catalysis. To date, he has published 12 research papers in peer-reviewed international journals.
