Brief Introduction
Research associate professor at Department of Physics, SUSTech. I have been studying of novel phenomena in strongly correlated materials and topological materials since 2008. I have developed a DFT-based time-dependent Liouville density functional theory (TDLDFT) to describe the charge transfer in the excited states after optical excitation. Also, I have developed a method to compute the 1D hinge states in the 3D materials based on the Wannier orbitals. I have published 30+ articles in journals including Nature Materials, SCIENCE, PRL, PRB, Nano Letters, etc.
Research Interests
At the moment, my major research interests include:
(1)Ultrafast manipulation of electronic, magnetic, and phononic properties
(2)Band topology
(3)Functional design of strongly correlated materials and topological materials
