Dr. Hu Yucai is currently a research assistant professor in the Department of Mechanics and Aerospace Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology. From 2006 to 2010, he studied at the Northwestern Polytechnical University, majoring in aircraft design and engineering, and obtained a bachelor's degree. From 2011 to 2016, he studied at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Hong Kong and obtained a doctorate. His research interests are computational solid mechanics and origami structures.
