Xiang XU

Dr. Xiang XU received the Bachelor of Engineering degree from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China in 2014 and the Ph.D. degree from City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong in 2018. From 2018 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong. He is now an associate professor in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China. His research interests include Time delayed systems, cooperative control, infinite delayed systems, nonlinear systems and control, control of partial differential equations (PDEs). He has published overall 13 first-authored SCI papers, 10 of which were published on TAC and Automatica, also including 4 regular papers. He has helped his Ph.D supervisor in supervising four Ph.D students. All of them has published papers on top control journals, two of which have been employed as assistant professors in other universities. Dr. XU was awarded the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas) in 2022.
