Research Assistant Professor

Dr. Chong Zhang is a research assistant professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology. He was awarded the Shenzhen Overseas High-Level Talent Peacock Program Award in 2021. His research interests focus on medical dressings and surface modification for biomedical applications. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Polymer Materials and Engineering, Anhui University of Technology in 2010, and Ph. D. of chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2016. Dr. Chong Zhang has been a postdoctor at Peking University, IBS, and the University of Tokyo from 2016 to 2020. He published more than 10 papers in the Adv. Funct. Mater., Biomaterials, Nano Res. as the first or corresponding author.
