Zhang Dawei

Zhang Dawei received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Peking University in 2025, specializing in ethics. From 2022 to 2023, he pursued a joint Ph.D. program between Peking University and the University of Cambridge. He also holds an M.Phil. in Philosophy, with a concentration in ethics, from Peking University, and an LL.B. in Law from Southwest University of Political Science and Law.

Since August 2025, he has served as a lecturer at the Center for the Humanities, Southern University of Science and Technology. His primary research interests include political philosophy and ethics, ancient Greek philosophy, early modern philosophy, and the history of Chinese and Western political thought.

His academic work has been published in journals such as Beida Journal of Philosophy and Peking University Political Science Review. He has received several honors, including the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship, the Zhang Qicheng Scholarship of Peking University, and the Peking University Award for Contribution in Student Organizations.
