Qiao-Chu He joined the SUSTech Business School in 2019. His primary research area is operations management, with application domains including smart cities, marketplaces and platforms, socially responsible and sustainable operations, human-algorithm/AI interactions. His major research methodologies include games with incomplete information (mechanism design, market design, and information design), stochastic models, applied optimization, and data analytics. He serves as a principal investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the NSFC Overseas Excellent Young Scholar Program (2019), and the Hong Kong General Research Fund (GRF).
Built on domain expertise in operations management (e.g., logistics and healthcare contexts), this research agenda seeks to integrate operations research, artificial intelligence, and game theory—particularly information and mechanism design—to explore new paradigms in AI for Operations Research/Management (AI4OR) and OR4AI.
