Ye, Shengyi

Professor Ye graduated from Tsinghua University in 2000 with a B.S. degree in Physics. In 2007, he graduated from Dartmouth College with a Ph.D. degree in space physics. Then he moved to the University of Iowa and joined the Department of Physics and Astronomy (first as a postdoc then research scientist since 2009), where he focused on data analysis and research work based on NASA Cassini and Juno spacecraft data. In September 2009, Dr. Ye joined the Department of Earth and Space Sciences of SUSTech. Dr. Ye has published over 50 peer reviewed papers in international journals like Science, Geophysical Research Letters and Journal of Geophysical Research. He was selected as the institutional PI for a NASA Cassini Data Analysis Project (CDAP). Research field: space physics, planetary science.
