Zheng Wenshu, PI, Assistant Professor at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Dr. Zheng Wenshu received his Ph.D. from Peking University/National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (2018), and subsequently served as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2019–2022), Project Scientist (2022), and Assistant Professor (2023–2026) at Arizona State University and Tulane University. In January 2026, he returned to China full-time and joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at SUSTech. He has published nearly 50 papers in internationally renowned journals such as Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Analytical Chemistry, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Science Advances, and The Lancet Microbe. His first-author work has been featured in journals including Nature, and several research outcomes have been successfully transferred into products now used in multiple hospitals in China and abroad. He has received honors including the NACCCA Innovation Award and the Tulane University Lavin-Bernick Faculty Award. He also serves as a Youth Editorial Board Member for journals such as BMEMat (IF 15.3).
