林琳博士，南方科技大学副教授、博士生导师。于香港大学机械工程系获得博士学位，博士期间先后在澳大利亚阿德莱德大学、英国伦敦国王学院和日本北海道大学担任访问学者。相继在香港城市大学、香港大学和香港医疗机械人创新技术中心担任博士后研究员。主要研究方向包括群智网络、全驱系统方法、轻量化控制、医疗机器人等，以第一作者身份在IEEE汇刊、Automatica、SICON等期刊发表论文20余篇。入选国家高层次青年人才、深圳市“鹏程孔雀”人才计划、德国洪堡学者，担任美国数学学会《数学评论》评论员、国际工程技术协会秘书处成员、TCCT逻辑系统控制学组委员。
